WAC schools announce 2012-13 signing classes

Several Western Athletic Conference softball programs have announced their 2012-13 signing classes this month, and there are several standouts included in the lists.

Of course for some of these new signees, they will never play a WAC softball game. Fresno State, Hawai'i, Nevada and Brigham Young will all be gone from the world of WAC softball following the upcoming season.

Fresno State and Nevada will both be departing for the Mountain West Conference on July 1, 2012. Also on that date, Hawai'i will become a member of the Big West Conference in softball. And BYU, an affiliate member in WAC softball for the 2012 season, will be gone as well.
