Fresno State head coach Margie Wright announced today the addition of left-handed pitcher Kiley Shae Aldridge for the 2012 season.
Aldridge spent last semester at the University of Arizona, participating in practice and playing Fall Ball with the Wildcats under coach Mike Candrea. She was an all-conference and all-area player at Cabrillo High School (Lompoc, CA), where she graduated in 2011.
Fresno State looks to have one of its deepest pitching staffs in recent memory this season. The Bulldogs will be led by a pair of seniors -- Easton All-American and NFCA All-Region pick Michelle Moses, and All-WAC tourney selection Mackenzie Oakes (an 18-game winner in 2011). Aldridge joins fellow freshman Destinee Levesque, a 16-game winner and first team Nevada all-state honoree in 2011, on the Fresno State pitching staff this season.
